BENEFITS OF DRINKING COPPER WATER

According to Ayurveda, water stored in a copper vessel has the ability to balance all three doshas in the body (vata, kapha and pitta). Water stored in a copper vessel is known as “tamara jal” and is supposed to be drunk after it has been kept for at least 8 hours in the copper vessel. When water is stored in a copper container, the copper gently seeps into the water and gives it all its positive properties. APPEARANCE AND MAINTENANCE

Copper cookware will look naturally beautiful as long as it is kept clean. But after some time various stains may appear inside and on the outside surface. This occurs due to oxidation. This is due to the natural properties of copper and has no adverse effects on drinking water from a copper bottle, container or glass. These stains are easy to clean.

To keep your copper cookware beautiful, we suggest you use one of the following cleaning methods:

1. SALT AND WHITE VINEGAR
   Take a water sprayer and fill it with white vinegar and add 2-4 tablespoons of salt and shake it well. The salt must dissolve in the vinegar.
   Spray the inside and outside of the copper vessel with this mixture and leave it for approx. 15 minutes. Then scrub the container and rinse with water.
   To make it easier to access the inside of the container, take a cloth or sponge and place it on a wooden stirrer or “kitchen”. Use white vinegar and salt, mix, and rub the inside well.
2. LEMON AND SALT
   If you have access to the stain, “salt” it and take half a lemon and rub it over the surface.

3. WINE STONE

• Use copper bottles only for water. Do not use it for drinks or fruit juices.
• Clean only by hand, not in the dishwasher
• Keep out of direct sunlight.
• The copper bottle should be cleaned from time to time with natural cleaners, a soft sponge and lukewarm water.
